Community debuted sometime in 2009 and is into its third season now. Its won various awards and accolades over the years and is rated 8.8 on IMDb.
The show is set in a community college, called Greendale. Revolving around the alarmingly Chandler-ish Jeff Winger (Joel McHale), the show mainly consists of unrealistically over-the-top situations and characters. the whole cast is amazing but I would like to give a special recognition to Donald Glover as Troy. The dude is hilarious. Each episode is a surprise, the humour is bright and quick.
What differentiates it from every other show on TV are the thinly veiled movie/TV references nearly every 5 minutes and the absolutely mind-blogging themed episodes

PS: Be warned though, Its not a show with universal appeal. It is more of an acquired taste.
PPS: You'll have a horrid time trying to find episodes on DC, but it's well worth the effort!
